Visa, in partnership with BCU, announces Gold, Silver and Bronze prize winners in the Visa Olympic Games Sweepstakes

Chicago – Visa, in partnership with BCU, has announced the Gold, Silver and Bronze prize winners in the Olympic Games Visa Sweepstakes. Together, the winners received cash and prizes totaling $40,000, a sum which commemorates the Credit Union’s 40th anniversary.
The Visa Olympic Games Sweepstakes opened on June 14, 2021 and ran through August 8, 2021 to honor the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 in Japan this summer. Legal residents of the United States who were at least 18 years on the opening day were eligible to enter.
Jayna R., from Greenwood, MO won the Gold prize totaling $20,000 in cash plus Olympian and Paralympian merchandise, courtesy of Visa. Tyler C., from Allendale, MI won the Silver prize of $10,000 and Dean T., from Golden Valley, MN won the Bronze prize of $5,000.
“I was pleasantly surprised to win the Gold in the Olympic Games Visa Sweepstakes,” Jayna said. “It was a fun way to commemorate the Olympic Games and I plan to use some of the prize money to do home improvements and use part of it to help pay down my credit card.”
Tyler C., the Silver prize winner, plans to use his prize towards finishing his second degree, and the Bronze prize winner, Dean T., is excited to have been selected. “I don’t think I have won anything like this in my whole life,” he said.
All eligible Visa BCU credit and debit cardholders were automatically entered into the sweepstakes when they used their Visa BCU card to make a purchase during the promotion period. In addition, entries were allowed by mail. Each winner was chosen at random by drawing.
